Two No-Cost College Courses

Grantham University is committed to helping service members prepare for success in the U.S. Armed Forces and in civilian careers.  Our Military Ready program offers future, current, and former military members two complimentary, self-paced, online courses which can be applied as credits towards a program at Grantham University.  The program is flexible and participants can take the courses separately or at the same time.  There is no obligation to enroll as a student.

IBM Certifications at no cost

CASY proudly announces its Data Intelligence and Cyber Security Training program, conducted in partnership with IBM.  IBM will continue to grow this program through an additional grant to CASY & MSCCN to conduct up to 13 training sessions to enable a total of ~150 veterans to gain this certification. They will then be assisted by CASY & MSCCN with job placement, based on their newly acquired skills.  Go to their training calendar and register today.

DoD ID Card Office Online

The DoD ID Card Online Office provides a RAPIDS ID Card online tool to help locate a local RAPIDS ID card office near you, update your CAC, or manage sponsor or family member ID card information. You can search for appointments based on location and a radius that you are willing to travel.

The Office Online will allow service members and civilians to temporarily extend the life of their cards as the nation battles the COVID-19 pandemic. These extended cards that appear expired on their face can continue to be used for access to benefits, including health care, entry to installations, and networks.

North Dakota National Guard License Plates

Distinctive numbered plates may be issued to members of the National Guard. The Adjutant General shall certify those members of the national guard eligible to receive the plates.You must be a member of the National Guard or retired after 20 years or more of service to be eligible for these plates. A registrant must contact the Adjutant General’s office to be assigned a National Guard license plate number.  They will issue a form listing the plate number assigned and the individual eligible. 

North Dakota Cares

The North Dakota Cares (ND Cares) Coalition includes a broad spectrum of more than 40 service providers and partners whose work touches the lives of Service Members, Veterans, Families, and Survivors. Members share a common interest in strengthening an accessible network of support across the state, even though each entity retains authority over its own programs and services.  The purpose of the ND Cares coalition is to resolve barriers or gaps in services to ensure those serving, who have served, families and survivors receive the behavior health care and assistance they need. Connie Sprynczynatyk chairs the coalition.

Retired Army

Army Retirement Services develops Army policies and oversees Army wide programs that educate Soldiers and their families about retirement, advise survivors of soldiers who die on active duty/inactive duty for training, advocate for and advise Retired Soldiers and surviving spouses until death in order to comply with federal laws and DoD and Army policies, convince Retired Soldiers to remain active Soldiers for life who help Veterans get hired, inspire the next generation to join the military, and connect Americans with the Army that defends them.

Air Force Retired

The Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center is a major command direct reporting unit of Air Force Reserve Command with technical and policy guidance provided by the Chief of Air Force.  HQ ARPC is the organization charged with executing policy created by Headquarters Air Force and the National Guard Bureau, as well as providing direct support to wing-level Force Support Staffs and Commander Support Staffs.  HQ ARPC serves the Total Force, which includes Guard, Reserve, and active duty members.

Civil Service Retirees

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) serves as the chief human resources agency and personnel policy manager for the Federal Government. OPM provides HR leadership and support to Federal agencies and helps the Federal workforce achieve their goals. OPM directs human resources and employee management services, administers retirement benefits, manages healthcare and insurance programs, oversees merit-based and inclusive hiring into the civil service, and provides a secure employment process.

North Dakota Dept of Veterans Affairs

North Dakota is home to over 50,000 Veterans.  Our goal is to ensure that every Veteran in the State of North Dakota receives every benefit to which he or she may be entitled from the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), other agencies, and the State of North Dakota.  The department disseminates current information to the state veteran population through the use of news media, Veterans Service Officers, veterans organizations, and their website.  You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter!  “Like” or “Follow” us today!

Busch Gardens Military Discounts

Waves of Honor permits any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman to one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens® or Sesame Place® for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents. Service members and their direct dependents must have a valid active military ID in order to participate.  Inactive, standby and retired reserve members, military retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian Department of Defense workers are ineligible for the program.
